Claw Series
1972-1974
                                                                These works are from a signature series in my neo-surrealist  period. The artist put these archetypal forms of
                                                                                claws, shark fins, and crescent moons through various formal, and poetic, transformations. Joan Lowndes,
                                                                                Vancouver Sun art critic in the 1970's, wrote that these are "images from the laboratory of a mad geneticist.
